Hey my sweet little fishes!
In this video I talk to you guys about some of the common areas of damage that you are likely to come across with your fabric mermaid tail (regardless of where you buy it) as you use it and as it ages. I also talk to you about how I personally fix these issues on my tails in the hopes of giving you guys some options should you encounter any of these problems on your own.
As I say in the video, mermaid tails are a lot like cars, you need to put the time in to care for it and maintain it so that it can last you a good long while.
What kind of issues do you find yourself encountering with your mermaid tails (fabric, silicon or otherwise)? I would love to hear your experiences in the comments below and what you've done to solve the issues that have come up!

In this video I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to my very first underwater mermaid photo shoot! I got to FINALLY meet Mermaid Faith and got to see Mermaid Cyanea's tail in real life (OMG IT WAS AMAZING). I had such a wonderful time and thank you so much to Mermaid Moongazer for inviting me!
Essie Mermaid was our amazing photographer and I had such a wonderful experience with her that I would highly recommend her for your next underwater shoot! Visit her website at EssieMermaid.com!

Thanks so much for watching and happy swimming!
I've been noticing a lot of people seemingly having a hard time putting on their tails, doing some really unsafe things, or posting how-to videos with bad tips... So I figured I would do up my own video explaining how I go about this and how to stay safe when putting on your mermaid tail at the pool!
Here is Mermaid Swim Session Episode 5 where I show off my new MERBABE top by SaltyMermaid.com. I am so insanely happy with this top! Though I am one of their brand ambassadors now, I did buy this top with my own money and I am really enjoying it! It is so much more comfortable than any of my other mermaid tops (of which I have quite a few in a variety of styles). I definitely recommend this one and if you are planning on doing a lot of mermaiding, I would suggest just adding a little elastic around the bottom to make sure the little knot stays in place while you are flipping and spinning around in your tail!

Happy Mermaid Monday!
I hope you enjoyed the video and I look forward to catching you in my next post!
